Well I guess we will just have to wait and see what happens. Politics are exciting!
I guess I won’t be able to give a good answer for sure until all of the candidates are public, but so far, the big few that seem to be planning on running are Mitt Romney, Mike Huckabee, Sarah Palin, and Newt Gingrich. I don’t think Gingrich has a chance of winning the nomination. Although I like Huckabee more than Romney, I think Romney would win over Huckabee. Sarah Palin? Who knows? I don’t think, right now, she is able to beat out the other candidates within the Republican Party. Ron Paul never seems to have a chance. There’s always speculation that Jeb Bush from FL might run one of these days, but I see him running in 2016 if Obama is reelected, or in 2020, if a Republican is elected in 2012. Who I honestly think would have the best shot at beating Obama if they ran, is Governor Chris Christie from NJ, or Colonel Allan West from FL. But alas, neither of them are planning on running. But I definitely see the two of them running in future election(s).
We’re supposed to have a leader who realizes that you can’t ‘negotiate’ with terrorists. U.N. sanctions won’t do a thing. Iran has openly advocated wiping out the United States and Israel for several years now, and they are known terrorists and terror advocates.
And we are not involved in a war against Iran right now, or against North Korea. So if you mean ‘got involved in a war we cannot win’ as the War on Terror, than you have a truly apathetic and pessimistic viewpoint. You are saying that the war on terror can never be won, that we should just sit back and let atrocities like 9/11 occur.
We don’t have a choice of entering the War on Terror or not. Because the fact of the matter is that the War on Terror was brought to us. No one WANTED to go to war, but the terrorists brought the war to us. We cannot simply sit idly by waiting for the next attack to occur. [Read more…]
Haha, ‘the gravity of what you’ve done.’ What so many different people on different sides of the political spectrum fail to realize, is that there are in fact different opinions on specific issues, and that there actually is more than one solution to a problem. For example, by the way you are making me out to be the bad guy for voting for Corbett, I can assume that you are likely a liberal and probably support President Obama and much of his agenda. But for me and the half of the country that falls on my side of beliefs, I could pose the exact same accusation to you. [Read more…]
I think the media has demonized and scrutinized her incessantly. They have been twisting words in ways to make her look like she is stupid. For example, you may have heard something about her not knowing what’s in the 1st Amendment of the Constitution. Take a look at this: [Read more…]
Once you again you take things I say and twist them. I was asked specifically about Obama and his policies. Never in any way implied ‘All Democrats.’ Don’t make such frivolous assumptions.
No, we went to war with Afghanistan over the 9/11 attacks. Iraq was a different scenario. And you are delusional if you think that letting a terrorist madman like Saddam Hussein in power, did not pose a future threat to the U.S. and rest of the world. Without a doubt, many, many more terrorist attacks would have been planned and sponsored by Saddam Hussein. You say Cheney said he wasn’t a threat in 2001? And Colin Powell? Well it’s a good thing that all of the evidence that lead them to war was AFTER that point and AFTER 9/11. And you really honestly trust everything the U.N. declares to be true? Really? Oh and let’s not forget about how Iran would never have had a way to develop a nuclear reactor due to sanctions/inspectors/etc! Oh wait…
You also want to talk about taxes and spending? Yes, in the middle of the greatest economic depression since the Great Depression itself, the best way to do that is by raising taxes. What a BRILLIANT idea! (sarcasm) And spending? Really? Obama spent more money in his first 4 months of office than Bush did in 8 years. And guess what, in his first 20 months of office thus far, he spent more money than EVERY SINGLE PRESIDENT FROM GEORGE WASHINGTON THROUGH RONALD REAGAN COMBINED! Yes, we are definitely on the right track now with a $13,000,000,000,000+ deficit that is only getting larger. Yay for our kids in the next generation having no future!
Yes, I think he is doing a bad job.
Oh, and you’re going to pull the ‘attacked by terrorists’ thing? [Read more…]
